A twist on French Toast

This is something that I came up with this morning...it is really good!!

All I did was make normal french toast. While they were cooking I cut up a couple apples into bite size pieces and added cinnamon, brown sugar, and butter to them. I cooked the apples until they were fork tender and had plenty of juice. When I dished it up I made sure to put plenty of the apple juice on the french toast. The cool whip on top is optional, but it does add a little something extra!
It took a little bit more time that just pouring a bowl of cereal, but it tastes a lot better!

That looks pretty good - don't you think you should make it when Dad and I are around?

Does that even qualify as breakfast - it looks like dessert! I'll call it a meal though! Yum!

Oh, that looks so good. I love french toast. When I was young, I wanted Mom to buy a toaster from France so we could have it a lot easier.
